Dear Students,

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to provide you with some updates regarding our recent lecture and upcoming topics, as well as homework assignments.

Today, we covered decision making under uncertainty and risks, which will also be the focus of next week's lecture. For this week, we delved into basic methods such as maxmin, maxmax, Hurwicz, Savage, Laplace, and expected value. Following that, in the next week, we will analyze a more complex method known as the decision tree.

Due to the low attendance in today's lecture and the upcoming online session next week, I have added a link to a video lecture that covers both this week's and next week's topics. This will ensure that all students have access to the necessary materials.

Furthermore, there are two assignments in the system, each worth points. The first assignment, due on May 9th, focuses on the basic methods for decision making under uncertainty and risks. The second assignment, due on May 16th, pertains to the decision tree method. You have the flexibility to complete these assignments using Excel, paper, or any other appropriate tool of your choice.

If you have any questions or require clarification on any topic, please feel free to contact me via email.

Best regards,

Nikola
